About Average White Band
N'Dea Davenport is one example of a prominent musician who was influenced by the Average White Band, a Scottish group that played R&B and disco hits in the 70s, and actually continues in one form and lineup or another to do so to this day. Average White Band have recorded numerous albums, though their best material was undoubtedly in their early years, including their self titled Average White Band and cut The Cake from 1974 and 1975 respectively.
